Our Story
Who we are
Iron Vanguard Riding Club was founded in Maryland in 2023 by Michael Spinosa, Rich Corretjer and Jeremy Allan, around a shared commitment to motorcycle fellowship, memorable riding experiences, mutual support and responsible conduct.
The original crew soon grew, and together the founders and first members built the culture, traditions and riding standards that define the club today.
We are a Riding Club, not a Motorcycle Club. We are a lawful, voluntary riding organization. We claim no territory and interfere with no one, and we have respect for every club we share the road with. Men and women on every style of street-legal bike are welcome.
Our motto, Memento Vivere ("remember to live"), is the reason we ride.

Fellowship
Every member, prospect and guest is treated with dignity. We put the needs of our clubmates first and show up for each other on the road and off it.

We act with honesty in everything, from our applications and finances to how we deal with each other.

Safety First
No tradition, schedule or pace ever overrides safety, the law or a rider's judgment. Everyone gets home.

Represent Well
We represent the club professionally at rides, bike nights and events, and build positive relationships with other clubs and communities.

President
Michael “Spin” Spinosa
Founder. Leads the club, presides over meetings, and sets the annual calendar and direction for Iron Vanguard.
Vice President
Richard “Atlas” Corretjer
Founder. Supports the President and is the go-to for member questions, concerns and club initiatives.
Road Captain
Alex “Tank” Rodas
Plans and leads our rides, appoints ride leaders and sweeps, and has final say on formation and safety on the road.
Giving back
Club dues help fund charities that are making a real impact in our community and support members in times of need.
