Our riding season runs April through October, with group rides every weekend. Pick your pace, or ride both.

Rise early. Ride hard. Together. Our fast Saturday ride for sport bike riders: empty morning roads, scenic routes and good stops, led by an experienced Ride Lead with a Sweep at the back.

A steady-paced ride built around great views and interesting destinations: waterfront towns, scenic backroads, local food and the kind of places you only find on two wheels.
Who We Are
Iron Vanguard is a Riding Club (RC). We claim no territory. We exist for the ride, the people beside us and the communities we pass through.
Men and women. Sport bikes, cruisers, baggers, touring and ADV. New riders and veterans of the road. If you want real riding with people who look out for each other, you belong here.
Beyond the Weekly
Our summer run across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge to the Eastern Shore, with waterfront stops and a full day in the saddle.
Once a year we travel to ride the most amazing roads on an unforgettable motorcycle adventure.
Road trips to some of the most famous twisting roads on the East Coast.
We meet up (often at Rutter's on Monocacy Boulevard in Frederick) and ride in together to local bike nights. All bike types welcome.

Membership
We keep the bar simple and the standard high. If this sounds like you, we'd like to meet you.
21 or older
Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
Licensed & insured
A valid motorcycle license or endorsement in good standing in your home state, plus legally required insurance and registration.
A capable bike
Own or have reliable access to a street-legal motorcycle (500cc+ recommended) that can safely hold highway speeds and the pace of the ride.
Any style of bike
Cruisers, baggers, touring, adventure, sport and standard bikes are all welcome.
